Mid-year crops
Mid-Year Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice
Refers to jasmine rice that has been stored for 4–12 months, counted from November or December, which marks the annual harvest season of the KDML 105 jasmine variety.
Thai jasmine rice is cultivated only once a year (rain-fed rice), meaning it can be harvested just once annually.
Mid-year jasmine rice still retains a moderate level of natural starch, giving it a perfectly balanced texture — pleasantly soft yet slightly chewy, not too firm and not too mushy.

Thung Samrit Jasmine Rice
Refers to the KDML 105 Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice, grown once a year (rain-fed farming) in the Thung Samrit area, where a natural salt layer beneath the soil enhances the rice’s distinct aromatic quality.
This region spans 14 districts in Nakhon Ratchasima Province and is renowned for producing jasmine rice with a naturally fragrant aroma, unique to this terroir.
Thung Samrit is also a historically significant agricultural area — known for the “Thung Samrit Heroic Legend”, where Khunying Mo (Ya Mo) led the people of Korat to victory against the Vientiane army.
